Student signed up with a partner to research a birth defect. They were then taken to the media center lab were they had the rest of the period to find out what the birth defect is, what causes it to occur, what the characteristics are, the effects of it on the baby, and what treatment options or cures there are. They will be presenting these on Tuesday and have about 2-3 minutes for each group to present their information. They also have a test on Wednesday from information from the last half of this term.
